This is the Featured WOVEN Pattern & Yarn Kit from Northwest Wools for the 2021 Rose City Yarn Crawl. The theme for this year's Crawl is "Gratitude" and our Designer wants you to celebrate and be grateful for nature. We have learned how to be patient with nature, as we cannot change the weather or hasten the progress of seasons. As Weavers we also need to be patient. Perhaps Emerson said it best: “Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience.”
The Nature’s Secret Cowl is designed to be a short cowl that can be worn with any neckline. Three colors blend from side to side and end to end. The cowl is woven in plain weave with hemstitching and loose fringe tied to create the continuous cowl. It is designed to be woven on a rigid heddle loom but can also be woven on a 4-shaft loom. This design is for those who have a basic level of weaving experience.
